Dayglow "The World's Largest Paint Party"

Since it's debut in 2006 Dayglow has taken the nation by storm. The out of this world combination of high-energy music, lights, performers and of course LOTS OF PAINT is truly a unique and spectacular show. When I first heard that the tour was coming to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania I was ecstatic, and of course immediately starting thinking of what I would wear. I've been to many events that showcase quite a spectacle but nothing of this magnitude. After racking my brain for something imaginative and original that would not be completely ruined by all the paint I decided to get creative and make my own pair of Snooki inspired boots. I used a pair of ugg-like boots from Wal-Mart and attached faux fur with elastic and Velcro. Suburban Street Style

For a long time I have considered myself a city-girl stuck in the suburbs. It is easy to get the impression that life outside the city is filled with cardigans and pearls and that every house has a white picket fence. Being a resident of suburbia doesn't mean shopping only in department stores or mirroring "Bree Van De Kamp".  When city-sleek hits the suburban streets it tends to turn some heads.
